Mikhail Kapustin

Assistant principal trombone

Mikhail Kapustin has studied at the St. Petersburg Conservatory and Päijät-Hämeen Conservatorium. His career began in 1992, when he won the 1st prize in the Russian national copper racing competitions. Before becoming assistant principal trombone of the Tampere Philharmonic, Mikhail played in the St. Petersburg State Symphony Orchestra and St. Peter’s State Academic Chapel Orchestra as well as in the Saint Petersburg Philharmonical Orchestra and in the Lahti Symphony Orchestra.
