Gustav Mahler (1860–1911): Symphony no. 6 A minor "Tragic"
Promising young Russian conductor Stanislav Kochanovsky has garnered praise for his interpretations of some of history’s grand symphonies around the world. Mahler’s autobiographical Sixth “Tragic” Symphony is known for its three ominous hammer blows.
If the Finnish coronavirus restrictions regarding events and concerts continue in Fall 2021, The Tampere Philharmonic will play two concerts per night (6 pm and 8 pm) with a modified programme to accommodate reduced audience capacity and safety distance requirements.
