Elina Rouvali

Cello

Elina Rouvali, originally from Tampere but later settled in Ylöjärvi, began playing the cello at the age of six under Lauri Voipio. She graduated from the Turku Conservatory in 1998 as a cello teacher. At the Sibelius Academy, Elina studied with Arto Noras, completing her Master of Music degree in 2002.

Elina is an active chamber musician. Particularly close to her heart is the FINESTre String Quartet, founded in 2008 together with musicians of the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra.
