Pioneers of Asian music Nobu Koda and Risei Kitazume brought Western Romanticism to Japan. The trio by Emmy Award-winning Hollywood composer Bruce Broughton is full of the magic of imaginary worlds.

Japanese masters of the last century crafted captivating blends of Far Eastern melodies and Western harmonies. Risei Kitazume’s Dance and Nobu Koda’s Second Violin Sonata emerged in the sunlight of the rising sun, drawing on the roots of the late romantic style. Emmy Award winner Bruce Broughton, known for his music for the Dallas series, takes listeners into fantastical worlds with his magnificent harp trio, full of enchantment and imagination. 


The concert is hosted by composer Minna Leinonen. The concert lasts about 2 hours including an intermission. 


Ticket sales for the spring Afternoon of Fauns chamber music series will begin on Monday, November 3rd at 9 AM.


Tickets: adults 18 € / pensioners 11 € / students, unemployed, conscripts and children under 18 yrs 7 €
