Ivan Cheung

Ivan Cheung earned his master’s degree from the Hochschule der Künste Bern under the tutelage of Ian Bousfield and previously completed his Bachelor of Music with First Class Honours in 2022 at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, where he studied with Zachary Bond. He has been named a winner in numerous International Trombone Association competitions and received second place at the 2021 Southeast Trombone Symposium S.E. Shires Solo Competition. He currently serves as Bass Trombonist of the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra and as Trombone Instructor at the Tampere University of Applied Sciences in Finland.
