Kata Stojanovic

Kata Stojanović is a Serbian violinist and violist. She holds a Doctor of Arts in Music Performance from the University of Belgrade, a master’s degree in Violin Performance from the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste, and a master’s degree in Viola Performance from FILUM Kragujevac. She has appeared as soloist and concertmaster with ensembles such as the Baltic Sea Philharmonic, performing in major halls including the Berlin Philharmonie and Elbphilharmonie. Highlights include performing with Coldplay at Glastonbury Festival as a member of Nordic Pulse ensemble and also leading the second violin section at the Pacific Music Festival in Japan. Outside music, she enjoys running, cinema, sauna, and has recently developed a passion for winter swimming in lakes.
