Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra celebrates 95 years with free concert tickets – first Concert Cards are hidden at the Park Concert

This year marks the 95th anniversary of the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra. To celebrate, the orchestra is inviting 95 music lovers to upcoming concerts this autumn – for free!
The first batch of free tickets, a.k.a. VIP Concert Cards, will be hidden around the Sorsapuisto park and inside Tampere Hall during the annual Park Concert on Saturday, August 9. Anyone who finds a card can exchange it for a free ticket to a symphony concert or chamber music concert of their choice from the orchestra’s autumn program*.
The concert calendar is available on the orchestra’s website at tamperefilharmonia.fi, and printed brochures can be picked up at the Park Concert, either from the info point in the park or the main lobby of Tampere Hall.
Later this autumn, more VIP concert cards will be hidden in other cultural locations around Tampere, such as the Amuri Museum of Historic Housing, Museum Milavida, Sara Hildén Art Museum, and the premises or surroundings of The Adult Education Centre of the Tampere Region. The list of locations will continue to grow, and clues to find Concert Cards will be shared at the orchestra’s and partner venues’ communication channels.
Greetings from the Orchestra to ticket finders
