Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra offers many benefits for young people and students. On this page, you will find information about ticket discounts and the Young Listeners’ Club.

Young Listeners’ Club

Since 2002, the Young Listener Club has offered 15–26-year-olds a unique opportunity to take part in the activities of a large orchestra and enjoy a wide range of music. You can join or leave the club at any time.

Membership benefits

• Ticket for season series concerts: 10 €
• Ticket for Afternoon of Fauns chamber music concerts: 0 €
• Event-specific offers, a regularly published newsletter, and possible artist meet-and-greet sessions.

Discount tickets available at the Tampere Hall ticket sales and kulttuurimyymälä Aplodi.

No membership fee. Join the Young Listeners’ Club by filling in the form here. The form is in Finnish. Please, tick the box “Liityn Nuori kuuntelija -klubiin” and write underneath your year of birth.

Ticket offers for students

Students enjoy Tampere Philharmonic concerts at a reduced price. In addition to concert-specific discounts, student discounts are also available for season tickets and series tickets. Check the price list here.

Concert day ticket: 7 €

Students can purchase a discounted ticket on the day of the concert, provided tickets are still available. The offer applies only to concerts produced by Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra. Discounted tickets can be redeemed at Tampere Hall’s ticket office by presenting a valid student ID.

The offer includes all season series concerts as well as the following special concerts:

• Thu 13.11. and Fri 14.11. SAGAS – Orchestral Fantasy Music
• Sat 6.12. Independence Day concert
• Thu 15.1. and Fri 16.1. Santtu-Matias Rouvali & Bruce Liu
• Thu 5.2. and Fri 6.2. Rajaton & Tampere Filharmonia: Queen – We will rock you!
• Fri 27.3. Most Beloved Classics
• Fri 1.5. May Day Concert

Unused Season Ticket Seats for a student – only 2 €

If you can’t make it to the concert and you have a season ticket, you can lend it to a student. This way students have a possibility to experience classical music and there are no empty seats in the Main Auditorium.

You can free your seat for the evening by filling out this form before noon on the concert day. Students are charged 2 euros which covers the costs of printing the ticket. Thank you for supporting students!

Student, book a freed subscribers seat to a symphony concert

If you wish to purchase a student ticket to our concert on freed subscribers seat, please fill in this online form between noon and 2 pm on the concert day.

We let you know by SMS in case you got the ticket by 4 pm. You can then purchase your 2 € ticket from the Tampere Hall Ticket Sales desk with your name.
