Robert Schumann: Symphony No. 2 in C major Op. 61
Alban Berg's magnum opus is about Wozzeck, a soldier who loses his lover, then his mind. The shocking, expressionistic music with its powerful sounds has captivated audiences for almost a hundred years.
The concert is part of the orchestra's subscriber series, which includes a Pre-concert talk (Teokset tutuiksi) at 6 pm and childcare (Lapsiparkki, 10€) at 6:45 pm.
The concert has an intermission. The concert ends around 8:45 pm.
