The Tampere Philharmonic's Afternoon of Fauns chamber music series has offered our listeners intimate concert experiences since 1996. In the Sunday concerts, you can enjoy the chamber music ensembles of the orchestra's musicians.

Arnold Schoenberg, who shattered the age-old rules of music, bid farewell to instrumental music by composing a virtuoso fantasia for violin, while in Syringa by Heta Aho, an innovator on the domestic scene, is looking back towards French impressionism. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Quintet is one of his most celebrated chamber music works. Its soothing, singing melodies combine the best features of opera, concerto and symphony in one work.
