Tampere Filharmonia invites all music lovers to enjoy an experiential Filharmonia Day at Tampere Hall on Saturday, 25 April, from 10 am to 3 pm. The theme of this free event is “energy from music".

Chief Conductor and Artistic Director Matthew Halls and the musicians of the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra (TPO) warmly welcome all music enthusiasts to visit their home venue, Tampere Hall.

During the event, you’ll get a behind‑the‑scenes look of the orchestra, experience a musician’s job interview in a mock audition, meet the orchestra’s musicians and explore their instruments. The program also includes guided building tours, a prize wheel, special ticket offers, and activities for children. The absolute highlight of the day is the orchestral concert in the Main Auditorium conducted by Chief Conductor Matthew Halls. The concert is free of charge.

If you wish to start your day with good food accompanied by good music, the delicious Faun Brunch is the perfect choice. The brunch buffet starts at 10 am, and TPO’s chamber ensembles will make the moment even more delightful by performing during the event. The brunch served by Tampere Hall Restaurants cost €26 each, but all other Filharmonia Day’s programme activities are free of charge.

You can also enjoy the Fauns’ musical performances without attending the brunch. For more information about the brunch and advance reservations, please contact: ravintola@tampere-talo.fi or tap to this page for menu and pre-reservation.
