Music group Rajaton joins forces with TPO to bring you the legendary hits of Queen
These concerts are guaranteed to “Rock You”! Ticket sales for Rajaton & Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra's Queen – We Will Rock You! concerts in February 2026 will start on Tuesday, May 20th.
Iconic Queen hits will be heard in arrangements by Jaakko Kuusisto at the Tampere Hall’s Main Auditorium on two evenings, February 5 and 6, 2026, at 7 PM. In addition to the title song “We Will Rock You”, you’ll enjoy a full lineup of hits like “We Are the Champions”, “The Show Must Go On” and “I Want It All”.
The music group Rajaton’s unique a cappella arrangements and stunning harmonies will take on Queen’s greatest hits. Rajaton includes Essi Wuorela (soprano), Aili Ikonen (soprano), Soila Sariola (alto), Antti Annola (tenor), Ahti Paunu (baritone), and Jussi Chydenius (bass). The members’ musical backgrounds range from classical music to folk, pop, and rock. This broad spectrum of influences forms the foundation for Rajaton’s diverse sound. The vocal ensemble has released a total of sixteen albums, earning one double platinum, two platinum, and eight gold records in Finland.
Currently performing in Houston, USA, Rajaton regularly tours around with their ABBA, Beatles, and Queen shows. Their singing style and stage presentation have made them a phenomenon on the world stage. In August last year, they charmed the Tampere audience in the Tampere Philharmonic’s Park Concert in Sorsapuisto park. You can watch a recording of the Park Concert on demand on Yle Areena until August 10, 2025.
In Tampere, Queen – We Will Rock You! concerts will be conducted by Nick Davies, Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of Vantaa Pops Orchestra (Vantaan viihdeorkesteri). Davies is also a widely known musical and theatre conductor both in Finland and internationally.

TICKETS: The Tampere Philharmonic will announce its 2025/26 season programme at Tampere Hall on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 5:30 PM. Ticket sales for the upcoming autumn season will begin after the event at 6:15 PM, including ticket sales for the spring 2026 Rajaton & Tampere Philharmonic: Queen – We Will Rock You! concerts.
