Mr. Vassily Sinaisky conducts Tampere Filharmonia's concert on Jan 31 instead of Mr. Thomas Dausgaard

23.1.2025 There has been a last-minute change to the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra’s concert on Friday, January 31, 2025. Conductor Thomas Dausgaard has unfortunately had to cancel his visit to Tampere. Instead, the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra will play under the baton of conductor Vassily Sinaisky in this concert.

Nightwish’s new album Yesterwynde to receive symphonic world premiere by the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra

4.12.2024 Finnish metal music icon Nightwish will see their critically acclaimed new album Yesterwynde performed for the first time on stage as a symphonic spectacle. Composed by Tuomas Holopainen, Yesterwynde Orchestral, will have its world premiere at Tampere Hall, Finland in August 2025. The music will be performed by the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra, the Tampere Opera Choir, and a children's choir, all conducted by conductor Eero Lehtimäki. Tickets for the extra concert to be held on Saturday, August 30th, will be on sale starting Friday, December 20 at 9 AM.

Park Concert 2024

Do you recall the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra’s Park Concert on August 2024? If you feel like returning to the atmosphere of our summery concert and hearing the pieces again, you can do so. The concert is available on demand at the Finnish national broadcasting company YLE’s website until August 2025.

Tampere Hall

Tampere Hall is the home of the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra. It is the largest conference and concert centre in the Nordic countries. The Tampere Hall property forms a carbon neutral block together with the Courtyard by Marriott Tampere City Hotel located under the same roof.
