Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra and Tampere Hall, in cooperation with Tampereen Energia, will host the traditional Park Concert at Sorsapuisto in Tampere on Saturday, August 8. The concert starts at 6 PM, and DJ Juissi will start setting the park vibe from 3 PM onwards.
This year, the romantic and passionate melodies of opera will resonate at the Park Concert, complemented by a touch of beloved operetta and ballet music. Tenor Tuomas Katajala will perform well-known arias by Puccini, Verdi and Tchaikovsky together with the orchestra under the baton of Chief Conductor Matthew Halls.
Each year, the event attracts thousands of people to enjoy the sound of a symphony orchestra in a relaxed atmosphere, sitting on their own picnic blankets. Free entry – see you there!

On the day of the concert, Tampere Hall will also host the family-friendly Moomin – The Grand Celebration Day event. Free entry there as well.
