22.9.2026 Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra will record Scottish composer Sir James MacMillan’s powerful choral work A European Requiem in October 2026. Chief Conductor Matthew Halls has a particularly close connection with the work, having conducted its world premiere in the United States in 2016.

10.9.2026 This September, Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra takes audiences on a musical journey from the rich landscapes of French Romanticism to the sparkling fantasy worlds of Benjamin Britten and Igor Stravinsky. The orchestra will be joined by an exceptional line-up of internationally acclaimed artists whose careers are rapidly on the rise, including pianist Aristo Sham.
